That's a dumb, expensive move if the TV actually worked. You can always use it as a computer monitor if you don't want to watch shitty cable programming. I don't think he's telling us to unplug from net since he's using it for his message. Maybe he didn't know he could use it as a monitor and just uses his phone or a TV-dinner sized monitor with his computer? That would be a shame.
I agree, I unplugged ours... I use to use it as a big monitor but not any more.

That's all mine is used for, one big ass monitor. lol I think in Britain they have to pay that tax no matter what, if they own any tv. I seen videos of them sending out bailiffs or some shit to peoples homes who didn't pay their tv tax and demanding entry to check if they had a tv. Forcing you to pay for your own brainwashing and ads constantly shoved down your throat. They don't seem to have to many protections from them just walking in their homes.
