Glad I lost my Apollo 11 Eagle Lander? shoulder patch now after believing it all back in 69
Think about the idea of space debris hitting a space vehicle. The math would be complex to get a close number, but a space vehicle hitting (space vehicle 17,000MPH+) something (with its own velocity) would produce a spectacular amount of force. It is doubtful that a spacecraft could survive certain inevitable impacts. Sure, the shape of the craft could deflect some force, but even a bullet hitting something at an angle can still penetrate. Eventually, one of our space vehicles would hit debris in space and if that debris were even bowling ball size, bammmmmmmmm. Are space vehicles really that tough? I know there are some tough materials out there and have tested some carbon fiber, but 17,000 MPH is fast and that's not the fastest speed I've found for space vehicles.
The Apollo campaign was a hoax for sure.
Now NASA is telling us that they are flying a helicopter on Mars, which has an atmospheric density that is 1% of Earth's atmosphere.
They treat us all as if we are severely mentally handicapped.
