Adam was split into Adam/Eve to remedy loneliness. Loneliness was the first thing in creation NOT GOOD. Everything else, including the Serpent and all other peoples were good. When Adam becomes eternal in heaven (as are the angels) it won't be 'males'. Jesus simply emphasised that there will be no marriage or given in marriage. Breeding is for here, not there.
