Crazy Chinese Drivers - Traffic Accident's

This is incredible. They all seem obliviously entering streams of traffic as if they're not there. It doesn't seem to matter if it's pedestrian, bike or vehicle.
Are they all high? I will admit the traffic was chaotic when I was there. I found catching a taxi scary frankly. Yet I know that Chengdu has pretty severe jaywalking laws. Xian had a lot of cars, but I did like riding a bike around Beijing. I did notice I was a lot more careful at intersections than many Chinese, but it didn't seem as bad as here.

And no one got mad, no running away, no screaming, no shootings, most of them even got right back up. Hmm... Could it be because they are all yellow?

I don't see any traffic signals, etc. So many of their intersections look similar. Driving there seems risky.
