⁣Edible wild plant books
Do you know what plants you can eat in the wild?
Amazon has a number of books on sale.
Not a fan of Amazon, but they have them.
Some are your state specific plants.

Very key! An old animated army film (for survival in temperate climates) explained that all mammals are edible, and many insects (watch out for caterpillars and mushrooms) and staying near water sources is key.Cattails are good for starch(stems and tops) and when tops are dry,for fire starters and as pillow filler.Getting books with ID pictures is a great idea as so many plants,so many uses(food, teas, medicines, tinder, shelter tools etc)
