I know of the Quatro but do not know the mechanics behind it. However, when it comes to dead simplicity and reliability, torsen-style differentials like eaton truetrac are a thing of beauty. 100% meachanical, economical, no wear parts, no special oils or friction modifiers that could become hard to get, no actuators to break, no odd handling behaviors on high-traction surfaces... Just clever helical gear reduction bias.
Also only engages when traction is lost. If a wheel completely loses traction, a light application of the brakes will provide enough resistance to engage, then you're off! Military has long used them for same reasons above.
Absolutely! You took the words right out of my mouth!
I mention Torsen diffs in my next video, and praise them. That video is compiling now.
congratulations on keeping your spirit, the jew destroyers have the power to destroy but your spirit will be remembered
Thanks.
