Game of Thrones - Melisandre's true old age revealed (FULL SCENE)

Probably the most shocking, amazing episode ending since Kimberly ripped off her wig on Melrose Place way back in 1993. From Episode 1 of Season 6 ("The Red Woman"): the brilliant Carice van Houten plays this perfectly, like a great silent film. Melisandre has spent hundreds of years seeking to avert the Long Night by finding the Prince who was Promised - she believed it to be Stannis (other candidates are Daenerys and Jon Snow): that she could have misinterpreted the signs is a devastating predicament. Carice demonstrates Melisandre's regret, possible guilt over her methods up until now and the realisation that she may have failed in her mission entirely.
