John Edmond - Green Leader (Music Video)

⁣During the Rhodesian war John Edmond wrote and sang many songs related to this time when this little country in Africa was rejected by the world. They declared UDI and stood together like one family. I made a DVD for John of some of his "Troopie Songs" and this is but one that emerged from this remarkable songwriters pen and guitar during that time. It deals with an air raid on a terrorist camp. The strike was led by an aircraft code named "Green Leader". Proceeds from the sales of these records went to the Border Patrol Welfare Fund and later benefited wounded soldiers from both sides.
