@Wicked01: Most Christians nowadays are basically jews in terms of their doctrines. That's why people dislike Christians in general. It's the big difference between the law written in stone versus the law written on your heart. The jews want to have laws in stone so they can lord it over you, but Jesus' Law is written on your heart, which nobody can lord over you.

@dino: Yep, aka judeo-christianity blend & others like mormons, jehovah’s witnesses that force it upon people as their teachings are flawed & extremely corrupt.
Inclusion of adopting paganism into it by roman catholics confuses it awhole lot more with inaccurate times, dates of true Christian events as just one example.
Amein, Jesus Christ way is the way of good, truth, love & justice to name a few & is of free will as He intends:)

@Wicked01: Exactly, it is of your own free will. That's why you can't force anybody to believe in Jesus. I also agree with what you say about Catholicism, even though I have some reservations when it comes to condemning them. The Catholic Church has been instrumental in the spread of Christianity and the protection of the basic doctrine of the Trinity. Do not underestimate how important it was in the early church to protect this doctrine, because it was being assailed from every angle. In a way you could even argue that Islam was founded solely to attack this basic doctrine. And I call it a doctrine now, but maybe I should just call it a principle or whatever. People say that the Trinity is not Biblical but that's ridiculous. Jesus lays it out unequivocally: there's the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The Catholic Church just gave it a name.
Anyway, here's the verse that you were probably looking for:

John 14
Jesus the Way to the Father

5 Thomas said to him, “Lord, we don’t know where you are going, so how can we know the way?”6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 7 If you really know me, you will know[b] my Father as well.
