The ladies used up a lot of luck in that encounter or were protected by the will of the Lord - which the orc should never have challenged that day. As I recall, the main problem with this incident was that the guns the women used were not of high enough caliber and stopping power, so after blasting away, it took a headshot to finally disable the thug. Women really shouldn't be put in charge of liquor stores being that robbers and problem drunks will be less intimidated by a woman behind the counter and liquor stores are a prime target for such reprobates. Liquor stores in black urban areas need bullet proof glass and gunmen on guard at all times.
