Generally spot on, HPF, but "to damn" is not a synonym for "to eternally torment". The reason why Christ "Died for all" is that He purchased us with His own blood, - He paid the penalty due to us, as He loves us. This then transfers ownership of us to Him, from our previous subjection to the Law, which demanded death as the payment for sin - even a single sin, whether of action, or thought. So by acknowledging His Lordship, we pass from death - which we deserve - to life, and that by Grace, ie undeserved favour. Those whom He purchased, but who refuse to acknowledge what He did, and to offer Him the praise and honour which He deserves, will simply be consigned, not to torment, but to everlasting extinction from the face of the Lamb. As scripture so clearly states, such persons will "perish" ( John 3, 16 ) - they will not be tormented. "His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth, in that very day, his thoughts perish." "The wages of sin is death" - not torment. Note that death is the antithesis of life, so if we can experience torment in life, then by definition, we cannot experience it in death. The only ones who will be tormented eternally are those who take the Mark of the Beast, and who have chosen to become "transhuman" ie no longer human. Christ died for all men, but not for a single angel, nor for any transhuman entity. Revelation 14, 9 - 11, is definitive in this matter.
