Invidious is a secure alternative front-end to YouTube. If you want to watch videos from YouTube but feel uncomfortable using the site for one reason or another use one of the instances instead.

I use invidous. I only go on youtube when I need to download a video.
Not enough people do. Some instances do allow you to download videos through them.
